Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Fund

The Be Kind. Project is proud to partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to help put books into the hands of children in our local community. Dolly Parton has long championed the power of kindness, generosity, and giving back—making this partnership a perfect match for our shared commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families and spreading kindness in communities nationwide.

Our local chapter will serve children in Lathrup Village/Southfield, MI (48076), and Berkley, MI (48072). But donations have no ZIP codes. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, children ages 5 and younger can receive one free, high-quality book delivered to their home every month. Additional service ZIP codes may be added based on the success of our initial launch.

We are currently raising funds to launch our local chapter, and you can sponsor a child for just $31 (or more) per year. Your donation will provide a child with a year’s worth of books while helping foster a lifelong love of reading, learning and imagination.

Another great option is to donate $9.25 ("9-two-5") in honor of Dolly! Any amount is the right amount.
